Over the past couple of years, Frank Clark has been a consistent, yet underrated pass rusher for the Seattle Seahawks. Lining up behind Cliff Avril and Michael Bennett, not many people really talked about him as one of the premiere edge rushers in the NFL. Over the past two years though, he’s collected 19 sacks combined. This season, both Avril and Bennett are gone and Clark is already off to a good start. He’s collected 5 and a half sacks through the first six games of the season and he's easily on pace to break double digits. In this video breakdown, I analyzed Clark's favorite pass rush moves and how he uses his speed and power to get into the backfield. I also discussed the general trends of his play and how Pete Carroll uses him to maximize the skill-sets of the other defenders around him. In my opinion, the Seahawks need to re-sign him before he hits free agency. He's an extremely valuable member to this defense even if he's going to cost a lot of money to retain.
